The fat pads that naturally protect our feet become compressed from walking and running on hard surfaces so Thorlo’s cushioned fabric is designed to protect those fat pads, and provide cushioning after they’ve been compromised. The unique Thorlo fabric is optimal for wearing inside a shoe – moving moisture away from the foot while maintaining it’s cushioning properties. It’s an acrylic that’s a natural for a sock, more effective than either wool or cotton.
